Position Overview
Click Global Talent is recruiting for an adaptable, detail-oriented Hydraulic Plumbing Estimator to support a growing organisation supporting Australian construction operations. This fully remote position is initially part-time but may evolve into a full-time role, requiring alignment with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). The role spans the entire project lifecycle, from initial estimating and shop drawing review to quality control, document administration, and final handover compliance. Position Objective
To ensure the accurate and efficient management of hydraulic plumbing project documentation, estimations, and quality assurance processes, contributing to successful project delivery and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Construction & Estimating
- Prepare accurate project estimates, material take-offs, and stakeholder quotes.
- Review scopes of work and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
Project Management & Execution
- Assist in day-to-day project coordination, tracking milestones, and managing timelines.
- Review, manage, and coordinate shop drawings and construction document submissions.
- Oversee overall construction document management and maintain project registers.
Quality Assurance & Handover (QA/QC)
- Draft, update, and track Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure quality compliance.
- Compile, verify, and finalize As-Built documentation.
- Assemble comprehensive Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals for final project handover.
Document Control & Administration
- Organize, structure, and maintain project files and cloud repositories (primarily Microsoft OneDrive/SharePoint).
- Ensure document version control across all active construction files.
Requirements & qualifications
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in hydraulic plumbing, construction project engineering, project coordination, or contract administration (experience within Australian construction industry operations highly preferred).
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Australian hydraulic plumbing standards, construction documentation, estimations, shop drawings, ITPs, As-Builts, and O&M manual structures.
Software Proficiency
- Excellent IT skills with high proficiency in Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
Communication
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills suited for a stakeholder-facing environment aligned with Australian operations.
Work Setup
- Reliable home office setup with high-speed internet and the ability to work aligned with Australian business hours (AEST).
